Background

After studying and working at the University of Rhode Island, Meredith walked away with a BA in Writing and Rhetoric (actually, she triple-majored in Communication Studies and French, too!). She then cut her teeth in digital media working as a technical writer at a global B2B tech public relations firm, where she wrote content for multi-million dollar companies and worked with editors at top-tier publications, like Forbes and The Wall Street Journal.

In 2020, Meredith quit PR to focus full-time on her passion for writing. She started her own freelance writing business, replacing almost her entire 9-to-5 income working just part-time hours and traveling the world. As a technical writer and ghostwriter, she specializes in cybersecurity and B2B tech, writing white papers, blog posts, and other long-form content for
Fortune 500 companies.

Alongside contributing to Clever Girl Author, Meredith also writes and manages A Merry Loner, the newsletter encouraging people to create their own happiness no matter what life is like.

Personal achievements
